Who We Are

DeadRatGames Inc. (“DeadRatGames”, “we”, “us”) is based in Ontario, Canada. We build apps and games for Apple platforms.

Scope

This policy applies to all DeadRatGames apps and games distributed on the App Store. It does not cover this website — the website is covered separately further down this page.

What We Collect

Nothing.

DeadRatGames apps do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no crash reports, no remote configuration. Many privacy policies need a long list of exceptions. Ours does not need any.

Data Stored On Your Device

Our apps save settings, saved games, and high scores locally on your device. That data stays on your device, is under your control, and is never transmitted to us or anyone else. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

In-App Purchases

Some DeadRatGames apps offer in-app purchases (for example, the “Full Version” unlock in Antivirus). These purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit.

Apple processes the entire transaction. We never see your payment details, and we receive no personal information from the purchase. Apple’s handling of your data is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Children’s Privacy

We collect no data from anyone — children included. Our apps contain no behavioural advertising and no tracking of any kind. This is consistent with the requirements of the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws elsewhere.

Your Rights

Laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, and PIPEDA give you rights over personal data — the right to access it, correct it, delete it, or port it. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or transfer. If you believe we hold personal information about you, contact us and we will respond.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service involved in our apps is Apple’s App Store and StoreKit, which handle purchases as described above. We use no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers.

Website

This section applies to deadratgames.com only — not to our apps.

This website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (page views, approximate region, browser type). Google may set cookies for this purpose. No information from this website is combined with anything from our apps, which remain entirely data-free.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site works fine without them.

Changes To This Policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the relevant app’s release notes.
